Must Have in CBD Hemp Oil

Organically Sourced and Made in the USA –

Hemp is a bio-accumulator, acting very much like a sponge, meaning it is capable of absorbing both the good and the bad from the air, water, and soil in which it’s grown. This makes it all the more important to know that your CBD oil comes from organically grown hemp that can be tracked to a  US-grown organically certified source.

The last thing you want is for your CBD oil to have accumulated toxic substances such as pesticides, herbicides, or heavy metals.

Just as important to knowing what’s NOT in the product, is knowing what else is in the product!  Gold Standard products Include Only Natural Ingredients that may be added to increase absorption, taste or to preserve product.  Always avoid products with corn syrup,trans-fats, and artificial sweeteners or additives.

The hemp plant actually contains over 400 biologically active compounds!  By utilizing all aspects of the hemp plant, in its natural state, creates an environment where the natural compounds work together to create a synergistic and more potent affect.

Over the years, many companies have been flooding the market with CBD that has been separated from its synergistic cannabinoid, terpene, fatty-acid and amino acid partners, pushing an isolated CBD product lacking in complete therapeutic benefits on an under-educated market.

Full Spectrum Hemp Oil products make the power of the hemp plant fully available, the way nature intended.

CHEMISTRY 101:

OIL AND WATER DON’T MIX

The simple reality is that regardless of how high-quality an oil-based supplement is, if your body can’t absorb the oil, your body can’t use it.  It’s not just what you take that matters, but rather what your body can absorb!

The challenge with full spectrum hemp oil is that it’s lipophilic (meaning oil-based) and that thenutrient absorption occurs primarily in the intestine where our intestinal cells are covered in a fine film of water - and we know oil and water don’t mix. This means that most oil- and fat-soluble substances are excreted.

In fact, the oral bioavailability of ingestible oil-based supplements is only around 6%. This means that over 90% of the oil-based supplements you buy may have very little benefit at all.

The solution is to choose a WATER-SOLUBLE product!  Water-Soluble products have beenproven to work (as high as 94% bioavailable) and providing for maximize absorption and allowing for Rapid Onset of Action!

Know the THC levels. In order to qualify as alegalhemp product, CBD oil must contain0.3% THC or less.

Hemp derived CBD has no psychotropic effects (i.e., it causes no sense of intoxication, dizziness or euphoria), which are characteristics more attributable to higher THC and more generally to the recreational use of Cannabis.

For some, using a product with 0.3% Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) might not be a big deal.  For most, however, 0.0% THC is preferred due to possible drug testing at work or school, operating heavy machinery, or a number of other reasons.   It is important to know that drug screenings for THC are not sophisticated enough to quantify THC levels and currently will only reveal + / -.

For this reason, we recommend finding Gold Standard, full spectrum products proven to contain 0.0% THCor less (must have Certificate of Analysis).  0.0% THC products are available and the perfect option!

Certificate of Analysis and QR Batch Verification

Find products with clear ingredient labels and utilize an Accredited 3rdParty Laboratory that tests to ensure the CBD is free of:  Pesticides, Residual solvents (from the extraction process), Bacteria and fungus, Foreign matter or Heavy metals.  Also, always require a Certificate of Analysis to verify THC levels.

Gold Standard companies should provide full transparency on each product.  Look for those that provide QR Codes labels on each bottle that will link you to the Certificate of Analysis.

QR Codes are consumer friendly and even required in some states.

To get pecans from a pecan tree, you can just shake the tree. To get juice from a lemon, you can simply squeeze the fruit. But getting CBD oil from hemp is a much more complicated process. The cheapest and easiest ways to extract CBD oil from hemp commonly involve harsh solvents that can leave chemical residue in the CBD oil.

The Gold Standard, and most reliable extraction method, uses carbon dioxide (CO2) under high pressure and extremely low temperatures to pull out as much CBD as possible without introducing contaminants. Once the CO2 is no longer under intense pressure, it simply evaporates, leaving virtually no trace of extraction on the CBD oil.

CO2 Extraction ensures high quality, uses no harsh solvents/chemicals, is free of butane & propane, and ethanol, and is widely used for foods and quality dietary supplements.

Know Your Product Before You Buy

When it comes to CBD oil, cheaper is most certainly not always better because the production of quality CBD oil just isn’t cheap. CO2 extraction utilizes complex equipment and a high level of expertise as opposed to the cheaper and easier chemical extraction processes that can leave residue from toxic solvents like butane, propane, and ethanol in the CBD oil. While the CO2 extraction will generally lead to a higher price tag, it does insure quality, purity, and potency – especially when used to extract CBD oil from hemp that has been organically grown in the United States.

We believe that CBD is part of a balanced strategy for increasing well-being, but we will not make any claims about what it can or cannot do. The best way to achieve results is to take very good care of yourself and respect your health and use a Gold Standard full spectrum hemp CBD oil as part of your overall wellness strategy.
